Thank you for taking the time to explore Creatures of Habits. We are committed to supporting our community by helping fill the gaps in services and resources available to families.

As two moms raising sons with autism, we understand the journey firsthand. Our experience spans years of advocacy, serving on the Walk for Autism Community Committee, navigating homeschool and traditional school settings, and continually fighting for services and supports. Through conversations with caregivers across our community, we’ve seen where needs go unmet — and Creatures of Habit was created to help bridge those gaps.

Our mission is simple: To provide meaningful, adaptable support that reflects the real needs of families. We aim to be a trusted partner on your journey, offering training, guidance and a one-stop resource for caregivers, and neurodivergent individuals.

While some services include a fee, we also offer community support, collaborate with insurance companies, and provide select services at no cost to ensure accessibility and support for all.

We invite you to connect with us — call or send a message — and together we can ensure you and your child have the support, skills, and inclusion you need to thrive.

OUR VISION

We’re beginning with a simple but powerful goal: to offer high‑quality, evidence‑based social skills training for adolescents and young adults — a group that often has limited access to meaningful support. Our hope is that through guided practice, real‑world skill building, and a supportive environment, participants will gain the confidence to build their own community and support networks.

As we grow, we’ll collect feedback and data to help shape our future programs. Some services will be offered at low or no cost, while others will be fee‑based to keep our work sustainable. Most importantly, we want to build this space with you. Your experiences, ideas, and needs will guide what we create next.

 

We want to know:

  • What’s missing in our community

  • What immediate needs aren’t being met

  • Where the gaps are — and how we can fill them

 

Our goal isn’t to reinvent the wheel. It’s to strengthen what already exists and create what doesn’t.
